Part (1) Answering Questions
1. What was the best part of the last school year?
I enjoyed meeting new people and new friends. I am very excited about the suite I am going to live in next year with four of my new friends – Anna, Rachel, Connie and Zoë – I love those girls ☺
2. What thing did you enjoy THE VERY most? (Only pick ONE!)
The best event thing that I went to this past year was our Spring Dance, Crystal Ball. It’s hosted by Kaleidoscope, our gay and lesbian group, and encourages everyone do dress to express their sexuality. They also encourage cross dressing. I know this all sounds a little extremely liberal, but what happens when you get there is you see a ton of half naked people. Some boys dress like girls and most girls dress very revealing (again, I know pretty strange.) The beautiful part, though, is that everyone, no matter how sexually they are dressed, is extremely confident. You’re standing there with no pants on, and you feel the hottest you have ever. That’s what the dance is all about, feeling confident no matter how you dress. I loved that feeling. I realized that everyone was happy and confident and that feeling was amazing. It was a great dance, and I can’t wait until next year.
3. What was the worst summer job you’ve ever had?
I have only had two real jobs besides babysitting, so I have to say babysitting was the worst summer job ever. Two summers ago, I had babysat for a family down the road and had to be there at 7 AM which sucks, a lot. The only other jobs I had was working at Hungry Howie’s (year round) and my current job, Kalamazoo College Bookstore. This summer, I will be staying on campus working at the Bookstore and a different campus office. I am getting 37 ½ hours between the two, so I am very excited.
4. If you were to be any movie, what would you be and why?
Gosh, I had no idea how to answer this. I would probably be a documentary at the end of the day. It wouldn’t be a boring documentary, but a funny, interesting one. Something like “Atomic Café” where there is a ton of sarcasm, but its not funny all the time. I’m not too funny all the time; I do have my serious moments. I like to think I am pretty frightening, but I wouldn’t make it as a horror movie. I am definitely not a romantic chic flick because I am just neurotic when it comes to my relationship – in a non-humorous way. I’m not athletic and not an action movie. I would probably for sure be a documentary, but the cool one (I hope I would be a cool documentary).
5. Have you ever had a bad roomie?
I must admit, that this past year’s roommate and I did not work out… at all. We just didn’t mesh well and I felt like she was being passive aggressive and very inconsiderate of me or my space. She would do things like turn lights on when I was sleeping or bang at her keyboard in the night where as I would also leave when she was going to be and I had homework to do. It was a ton of little things and the fact that it was obvious she didn’t like me that got to me. It was like she was awesome at being rude without even trying. My friends would be polite to her, but she didn’t seemed to care and would never be nice to them. By the end of the year, though, we both decided to tone down and try to make it through the last quarter of the year. We actually got along for the last 5 or so weeks. I have decided to just be roommate-less because of last year. As I said, I am living in a suite next year. It has two double rooms and one single and I have the single. Its going to be for the best, because I am just a bad person to share an actual private space with. I need somewhere to be alone.
xo.

PS. I put my favorite thing to put on my head… on my head. Here is a picture of my new hair-ness.
It is not a drastic change, because right now I am quite fond of red, but I assure you, it is new.

Thankies for the comments
My video for this week will not be as funny because I was tired when I made some of it. Still, there is some funny stuff… I hope.
YES to The Overrated Twilight Book Club! It will be a good time. We can make fun of it together. Uhm… This is how I got obsessed with Harry Potter though – I read it to be Anti-HP for a debate. I lost. I have little self control, so you’ll have to keep me in check.
I used to read Harry Potter fanfiction too! I don’t read much fanfiction at all right now but I’m currently helping a friend edit a (really good) Fruits Basket fanfic.
And now I will finally submit my comment after like, four hours, haha! I’ve been distracted with dinner, tv and phone calls.

I am reading the Twilight series at the moment and I like it. Not as something of literary merit or anything but something cute to read. It is really mushy and cutesy at points but overall I have really enjoyed it :]]
